Google Earth T-Shirt

I acquired a Google Earth T at the geoblogger meet-up at the ESRIUC. I wore said t-shirt today on a trip up to Pittsburgh (just to get out of Morgantown) and it was commented on several times. It was expected in a place like CompUSA, but it was kind of fun in Boston Market and Krispee Kreme. It isn’t a nationwide recognition of Geography…but it’s a start 🙂

I wore mine too yesterday to work. Wow! I got a ton of “Hey, that shirt is awesome!” from my colleagues. I even impressed the boss in the hallway.

I forgot to mention, my ESRI rep melted at the sight of said Google Earth tee. Our office has been pulling their chain for weeks b/c we’ve been exporting GIS projects to GE for our partners to access. For some reason, it bothers some ESRI’ers, but I don’t think all. Just the sales folks I think.
