GAW media blitz

Beginning today and continuing through the week we are bringing you our annual Geography Awareness Week information overload. This year our podcast theme is spatial media and we will be talking to print and online media folks on Monday-Friday, except on Wednesday when we will be talking about GIS with Rick Lawson. Our daily blog highlights this year will focus on the 6 elements and 18 standards of the US Geography Standards for education. We will have our anniversary episode of VSTV this week and we will kick it all off today with the next NGTC highlight episode which is an interview with Ann Johnson of ESRI. Oh yeah, and we will be bringing you our experiences from the Festival of Maps and the Social Science History Association meeting on the conference feed after Sue and I arrive in Chicago on Wednesday.
