Multi-Resolution Land Characteristics Consortium Releases 2006 National Land Cover Data

The USGS has released National Land Cover Data (NLCD) for 2006 marking a new 5 year interval of data release as opposed to the previous 10 year cycle.  The data set includes but is not limited to:

• NLCD 2006 Land Cover
• NLCD 2001/2006 Land Cover Change
• NLCD 2006 Percent Developed Imperviousness
• NLCD 2001/2006 Percent Developed Imperviousness Change
