VirtuSphere – Immersive Virtual Reality environment

One avenue of research in geospatial technologies and geovisualization is immersive Virtual Reality. One of the biggest issues is how to simulate moving through a real landscape. EarthSLOT – NSF funded 3D GIS

Google Maps Golf

http://www.gmapgolf.com/index.php Although this is is still an early beta, this site has some interesting techniques I haven’t seen other places. It’s also a pretty innovative use of spatial technology… plus…. it’s online golf…. who doesn’t like online golf?
