VerySpatial and social networking

As many of you know VerySpatial has a presence on a few social networking sites, but it has been a while since we mentioned them on the blog, and we have probably added a few feeds to boot. Here are the details:

  • A VerySpatial Forum – we are reviving the forums that were overwhelmed in the 2006 by SPAM, this time letting Google Groups do the heavy lifting. We will get a bit more systematic about the forums next summer but they are up now
  • Frappr – We have had our frappr map for quite sometime and while additions have slowed this year, we still like to take a look at where our readers and listeners are from.
  • Facebook – Of course Facebook is where everything seems to happen these days and we like to give a shoutout each week on the podcast to one of our Facebook friends.
  • Twitter – While we were early to podcasting, we were late to Twitter, but it is a great place to keep up with information and updates from friends and internet celebs alike. On Twitter you can follow our VerySpatial group account where we post podcast updates and things that catch our attention, though be sure to follow Jesse, Sue and Frank to find out what GIS project we are working on and what we had for breakfast.
  • You can find each of these links, along with our email addresses on our Contacts page. We look forward to hearing from you!
