Our Earth Day Contest – Question 3

This is the last question in our Earth Day Contest, but for those of you who haven’t had a chance to answer the first two questions, you can find them here and here. Remember, you get one entry for each correct answer, and if you join our Facebook Group, you get an additional entry. All entries are due by 11:59pm Pacific Time on April 17th. Recently massive floating plastic islands in our oceans have gained international attention. According to researchers, this happens due to a clockwise trade wind that encircles the Pacific Rim. Where does more than 80% of this trash come from?
