Off topic: Chaos and lint

Not that I am ever really on-topic, but I have a lot of writing to do tonight and if I don’t get this out somehow, I will be too distracted.

One of the key aspects of the Chaos Theory is the presence of strange attractors and for some reason I came to the conclusion that an example of a strange attractor in a Chaotic system (in this case, lint) might be a belly button. While there is a logical reason for the deposition of lint in your belly button (see Go Ask Alice!: Belly button lint) it doesn’t change the fact that lint has a general movement and that only a portion of the lint ends up in your innie.

I will leave of the spatial aspects of the idea that takes you into microgeographies/geography of the body since that can take the thought process to an…odd place. I know, not a ground breaking idea that will bring a deeper understanding of the relationship of chaotic systems and geography, but, like I said, it was distracting me.
