BBC NEWS | BBC moves to file-sharing sites
Dec 20th, 2006 | By Jesse | Category: General, generalThe BBC has taken steps toward allowing significant location shifting. They will be using a new p2p video service at Zudeo which is built on the Azureus torrent client. This will mean that those of us outside of the UK who aren’t satisfied with the limited satellite BBC offerings will soon be able to watch not only classic BBC shows like Fawlty Towers, but new series as well. There isn’t a start date that I can find, but the ink is probably still wet, so I will be a little patient.
