Donate to SETI@home
SETI@home is an attempt to search for extraterrestrial signals through the use of a distributed computing model, using processing power of millions of volunteer’s computers. To date they have proceeded through grants and donations, however this year they have begun their First Annual Donation Drive. This is an interesting use of technology and a more addictive screen saver than flying toasters.
