Federal Enterprise Architecture Geospatial Profile
Feb 13th, 2006 | By Sue | Category: GeneralOn January 26th, the Federal Chief Information Officers Council (CIO) in conjunction with the Federal Geographic Data Committee released for public review the FEA Geospatial Profile, a 158 page report intended to lay out how geospatial technologies should be designed and deployed both in government and non-government settings. Although the Geospatial Profile has a lot of government jargon and acronyms, it is still a fairly thorough look at the benefits and challenges of utilizing geospatial technologies and data.
