Geography professor elected speaker of Palestinian parliament

Abdel Aziz Duaik, a geography professor from the West Bank, was elected speaker of the new Palestinian parliament yesterday. Duaik earned his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and is a professor at An Najah University in Nablus.
